Buy Local Greater Kalamazoo was created in 2008 to help build awareness of the benefits of supporting local independent businesses. Buy Local Greater Kalamazoo works to educate the public about the importance of buying locally and supports locally owned and headquartered businesses in the Greater Kalamazoo Area through marketing, partnership, and networking. Buy Local produces an annual directory, the Guide to Local Living, and distributes local business information throughout the community.
