YWCA Kalamazoo

YWCA Kalamazoo is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. We combine programming and advocacy in order to generate institutional change in three key areas: racial justice and civil rights, empowerment and economic advancement of women and girls, and health and safety of women and girls.

YWCA Programming includes: 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, and other services - all provided at no cost for victims of domestic violence and their dependent children; 24-hour crisis line; on-site medical forensic exams for sexual assault victims; community education programming for youth from kindergarten to college; child care age 6 weeks to 5 years; YWCA TechGYRLS; women's empowerment, racial justice, and diversity programs relevant to the mission of the YWCA.
