The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, founded in 1924, provides touring and permanent collection exhibitions; educational programs including talks, videos, demonstrations and hands-on art making; monthly free family fun including Art Hop, Art Break, Art Detectives and Teen Night; group tours for school and adult goups, includes year-round art classes for all ages and abilities in the Kirk Newman Art School.
