The KACS is a part of the national American Chemical Society, an organization which is composed of chemistry professionals who have a passion for their science and an interest in furthering their own education and that of the community they serve through outreach programs to children, youth and adults several times a year, as well as through distribution of educational materials as requested. Its members are chemists in Kalamazoo, Van Buren and Allegan Counties. We distribute a Newsletter which is accessible on our website, and our general meetings are open to the public. Hands-on presentations to requesting groups are available as time allows.
